Generation Cocktails

Whether you are partial to a classic G&T, cocktail or punch, there are loads of ways to enjoy a Generation 11 Gin.  Here are but a few... get mixing and share your ideas #generationcocktails.

Sussex Martini

50ml Generation 11 Sussex Dry Gin

15ml Albourne Estate 40 Vermouth (its local, off dry and delicious!)

Lemon Peel to garnish

Pour the Gin and Vermouth into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice.  Stir so as not to break up the ice - 20 times works perfectly for a super cold mix.  Strain into a cold martini glass, garnish with lemon peel.
The simplicity yet genius of a well made martini gets us
every time!

Martinez

A Martinez is a classic cocktail and precursor of the more famous Martini.  This works brilliantly with our barrel rested gin, but if using the Sussex Dry add more Martini rosso for sweetness.

50ml Generation 11 Barrel Rested Gin

15ml Dry Vermouth (Noilly Prat works well)

15ml Martini Rosso or Sweet Vermouth

1/2 teaspoon of Maraschino Cherry syrup (or a splash of cherry liqueur)

Mix the Gin, Vermouth with ice in a cocktail shaker.  Spoon in the syrup and stir until combined.

Strain into a martini glass and serve - Divine
